This month, Washington politicians have the opportunity to vote on a bill, HB 1722, that would allow cities and towns in Washington to use Ranked Choice Voting in their local elections.

The House State Government Committee has set a hearing for the bill next week - but politicians need to bring this bill to a full vote before the February 22nd deadline.

Ranked Choice Voting is a huge step towards fixing our broken elections. It allows you to rank candidates in order of preference, eliminating the "spoiler effect" and vote-splitting.

Ranked Choice Voting ensures that candidates only win if they have a majority of support from the electorate, and reduces negative campaigning.

The deadline for politicians to vote this bill out of committee is February 22nd, so they need to hear from you right now.

When you sign this petition, a letter will be sent to your State Rep telling them you support the Local Option for Ranked Choice Voting in Washington!
