REPRESENTUS APPLAUDS TWITTER FOR FACT-CHECKING PRESIDENT TRUMP
FLORENCE, MASS. (May 27, 2020): RepresentUs Co-Founder and Director Josh Silver applauds Twitter for fact-checking President Trump’s tweets on absentee ballots. Here is his statement:
“It is not a coincidence that Twitter’s first fact check of President Trump is in response to his assertion that voting by mail is wrought with fraud. Years of nonpartisan research confirms that absentee voting is secure, and does not unfairly advantage one political party over the other. The public needs these facts in order to vote safely in the 2020 election. When politicians make bogus claims of fraud in the face of undeniable evidence to the contrary, we must all question who the real fraud is."
