The founding fathers established our government on the key principles of “separation of powers” and “checks and balances.” But unlike the Legislative and Executive branches of government, the Supreme Court remains effectively unaccountable. This lack of accountability has led to serious breaches of public trust and glaring conflicts of interest.
The Supreme Court may be unelected, but that doesn’t mean it should also be unaccountable. It’s time for Congress to do its job and hold our nation’s highest court to commonsense ethical standards. Join us in urging Congress to hold the Supreme Court accountable to basic ethical standards.
