Governor Brown: Sign the California DISCLOSE Act!

We have a chance to stop dark money groups in California by passing the DISCLOSE Act - but Governor Brown is running out of time to sign it.

The California Legislature overwhelmingly passed AB 249, the California DISCLOSE Act, that would significantly strengthen campaign advertisement disclosure in the state. Gov. Brown is now considering the bill, so he needs to understand how important campaign transparency is.

Voters have a right to know who is paying for political advertisements. The California DISCLOSE Act would give voters the information they deserve, and serve as an example for the rest of the county - but only if Gov. Brown signs it into law.
