On-going absentee voting is increasing nationally and in Maine. It’s no surprise because voting absentee increases voter access to the polls! People who vote absentee turnout at higher rates, and they are more likely to vote in off-year elections becoming a more consistent and engaged voter.
With Democracy Maine we have the opportunity to pass on-going absentee voting in ME expanding its availability to all registered voters. Join us in encouraging the Legislature to pass this bill.
